Your CV contains personal data. This page explains simply what Jobo does with it, in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is Reda Chakir, self-employed entrepreneur (auto-entrepreneur, ICE 004065921000077), Rabat. For any question: contact@jobo.ma.

Your CV: read, then deleted

• Your CV file is never saved: it is read in memory and then erased as soon as its text has been extracted.
• The text of the CV is sent to our artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic) to be analysed, then it is discarded: we do not keep the full text of your CV.
• We only keep a summary of your profile: field, target positions, level of education, years of experience, skills, languages, city and country, and your search preferences. This summary contains neither your name, nor your e-mail, nor your phone number, nor your address.

The data we keep

• Your account: e-mail address and password (stored encrypted, we cannot read it).
• Your profiles and searches: the summary described above (it lets you run new searches without uploading your CV again) and the opportunities found for you.
• Your payments: payment method, reference, your phone number (only to contact you about the payment) and, if you send it, the photo or PDF of the receipt.
• Your documents: the cover letters and CV reviews you request. For a CV review, your file is read and then deleted, just as for a search: only the advice is kept.
• Referrals: who invited you, so that both accounts can receive their points.
• A session cookie, only to keep you logged in, and a cookie that remembers the language you chose. We use no advertising cookies and no tracking tools.
• Anonymous visit statistics: the number of pages viewed per day and the website visitors come from, without cookies and without recording your IP address (an anonymous fingerprint, which changes every day, is only used to count the day's visitors).

Why we use it

Only to run the service: analyse your CV, search for opportunities that match you, show them to you, check your payments and limit abuse. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Our service providers

To operate, Jobo uses service providers located outside Morocco:

• Anthropic (United States): analysis of the text of your CV and of offer pages by artificial intelligence.
• Serper.dev: Google searches. It only receives keywords (occupation, skills, country), never your identity.
• Render (servers in Germany, in Frankfurt): hosting of the site and the database.
• Resend (United States): sending the service's e-mails (account confirmation, password, alerts, receipts). It receives your e-mail address and the content of these e-mails.
• Zoho: mailbox of the contact@jobo.ma address. It receives the messages you send us.

By creating your account, you expressly accept these transfers of data outside Morocco, which are needed to run the service (articles 43 and 44 of law no. 09-08). These providers may only use your data to provide this service to us.

The offers shown come from third-party websites; when you click “Apply”, you leave Jobo.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all your data (profiles, searches, results, payments and receipts) is erased immediately and permanently.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and object to the processing of your data. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from the My account page. To exercise your other rights, write to us at contact@jobo.ma. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel, Morocco's data protection authority).

Security

Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored in encrypted form and access to the data is restricted to the administrator of the service.
